We anticipate another time of celebration and reflection. As we approach the International Women's Day 2025, we reflect on the growth we have achieved as we look forward to great heights.
Over decades and centuries, women have stepped into purpose, great women have lent their voices to purposeful cause.
At OA Initiative, we are led by an amazing visionary woman, one who sees possibilities every where. We are constantly inspired by her example. Dr Olanipekun has not only led us to give our best to the cause of the organization, she has inspired us to lead visionary lives.
Many men and women who have worked with OA Initiative have been inspired to launch out and pursue their dreams.
This is an example of what amazing women are doing across the globe.
However, we reflect this year on the gaps that are yet to be filled.
According to the data from World Economic Forum, at the current rate of progress, it will take until 2058, to achieve full gender inclusion.
That is five generations from now.
This edition of IWD is a call to reflection and accelerated action.
The call is to you.
You are called to take your part.
Treat women graciously.
Rule out barriers for women inclusion.
It is a call to men and women to inspire young girls to live purposeful, train girls to see that they are not marginalised, they are not excluded from purpose. They were made for more.
We will not just do talking!
We will take actions.
